From a 33 year-old man:
-
I am 33 years old, white male, 6 foot 3 inches in height and weigh at 230 lbs.
-
I was in a car accident 8 months prior to symptoms of TMJ. Accident consisted of someone pulling their vehicle in front of mine causing my vehicle to have front end collision. Speed of accident was 30 mph. Neck was sore and stiff after accident.
-
I am a software design engineer. I am also a partner in this firm.
-
I have found out that pain in jaw is worse when working in front of my computer monitor.
-
Symptoms become mild and almost non existent when I do outside activities.
-
I eat oatmeal for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch. Sandwiches (large rolls) hurt joints or muscles of my jaw.
-
Aspirin or IB Motrin has no real affect of removing pain.
-
I have no family history of bone disorders or defects.
-
I am a non-smoker, and drink wine or beer with friends on occasions (Christmas, New Years, etc).
-
I have a deviated septum (nose broken when child). I breathe through mouth often.

Why is this sounding like a personal ad????
